Legacy Plans Deprecation

From June 6th, 2022, the Vercel platform will operate with only three account plans:

  • Hobby (free)
  • Pro
  • Enterprise

Currently, some Vercel users are on billing plans which will be deprecated on this date. This includes the following plans:

  • Free (team version)
  • Premium
  • Legacy/Old Pro
  • On-Demand
  • Unlimited
  • Business

If your personal account or teams are currently on one of the plans listed, you will have received notice by email and see a banner in your dashboard indicating that your plan will be upgraded on June 6th, 2022.

How do I upgrade?

To upgrade, click the ‘Upgrade Plan’ button on the right in the red warning banner.

How might this affect my project?

  • If you are using Serverless Functions: You will need to make sure that execution timeout does not exceed the new timeout limits. You will no longer have access to the ability to locate your serverless functions in multiple regions. For more information, see our documentation. Most customers will now have access to a significantly higher allowance of bandwidth and serverless execution time. For the full breakdown of new plans, see our pricing page.
  • If you are using Vercel as an individual, you will be automatically upgraded to our free Hobby Plan.
  • If you are using Vercel for your team, you will be automatically upgraded to our Pro plan, costing $20 per developer per month.

Will I need to add a credit card to pay for my Pro plan?

If you are upgraded to the Pro plan, but do not have a valid credit card on file, your account will be in an overdue state. You will be able to access your existing deployments, but you will need to add a credit card to make new deployments.
