About the role:

As a Senior Brand Designer at Vercel, you'll be the maestro of our brand's visual symphony, playing across a spectrum of digital and physical platforms. Here, your creative voice won't just be heard; it'll be celebrated and pushed to evolve our brand imagery, setting the visual tempo that keeps us a step ahead. What you'll do:

  • Take charge of our brand's look and feel across all channels, and add your own touch -our brand is always adapting and we want you to be able to help our visual style grow.

  • Oversee branding projects visually from start to finish, ensuring that all design work consistently reflects Vercel's creative vision.

  • Develop a comprehensive brand style guide to ensure consistent visual messaging across all platforms.

  • Design images and graphics for print, presentations, events, emails, social media, and online ads. These visuals will support our growth marketing campaigns.

  • Collaborate with product designers, web designers, and engineers to ensure the coherence of our end-to-end brand experience and project alignment.

  • Execute across different platforms, both on and off screen.

  • Create impact with compelling logos, typography, and color schemes.

  • Lead design projects by managing timelines and resources appropriately.

  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth.

About you:

  • A minimum of 5+ years in brand or communication design

  • You're an expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with a working knowledge of 3D, Motion Graphics, Interaction, and Environmental Design

  • Familiar with technology-driven creative environments and global B2B or SAAS businesses

  • You have a demonstrable knowledge of user behavior, funnels, marketing channels, and mobile to fuel appropriate creative design.

  • Systems-minded: when creating styles and visuals you are thinking of how it's part of a broader system.

  • Outstanding graphic design skills (layout, typography, color, illustration)

  • Portfolio showcasing brand development and design projects

  • Self starter and egoless collaborator

  • Familiar with Vercel, with working knowledge or experience preferred

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $163,000 - $195,000. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
