About the Role:

The Strategy & Insights team drives critical initiatives at Vercel and directly supports the company goal of building a culture of excellence. This is a small team of highly leveraged individuals focused on executing on high-impact areas of opportunity, including:

  • Optimizing the Self-Service funnel to increase customer joy and revenue capture

  • Ensuring our pricing and packaging are aligned to customer needs across customer types and levels of usage

  • Building a business case & strategic plan to support international expansion

  • Running company or organization-wide planning processes

Strategy & Insights is a small and highly leveraged team of folks who spike in analytical thinking, project management, and getting stuff done. As a team member, you'll have the opportunity to help Vercel maximize its full potential and strong existing momentum. Strategy & Insights is not an "internal consulting" team - we work on key initiatives hands-on in very close coordination with product, sales, marketing, and other functional partners – and we see projects through implementation.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop performance metrics and drive their achievement

  • Inform company-level strategic decisions through targeted projects

  • Help other teams achieve goals and improve effectiveness

  • Develop deep expertise in 1+ critical areas like self-service revenue, pricing & packaging, or product strategy

  • Lead execution of large-scale projects that directly impact business results

  • Drive company-wide process improvements

About You:

  • Are an analytical and structured thinker

  • Excel at finding the right metric to optimize and then optimizing it

  • Drive insight through data

  • Have a proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects to success

  • Are driven & highly productive

  • Are excited about rolling up your sleeves at a hyper-growth technology startup

  • Have at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or other quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Have 6+ years of work experience, including a background in SaaS software. Experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity is a strong plus.

  • Extra credit if you have direct experience in Pricing, Self-service optimization, or Product Management / Product Strategy!

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $154,000.00 - $216,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
