About the Role:
This role is ideal for engineers or former engineers with a knack for translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content tailored for both our enterprise prospects, existing enterprise customers, and developer audiences. You’ll join a team of tech enthusiasts and storytellers. As a part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality content that resonates with a technical engineering audience—from Engineer to CTO.
You will work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, DevOps, and product managers, and leadership to ensure that our public messaging of our products, services, and frameworks are of the highest quality and value.

If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NYC, or Austin) the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. What You Will Do:
Develop, write, and edit compelling technical content, focusing on Vercel’s AI Could, as well as solutions and frameworks
Act as customer zero, ensuring our content meets the reader’s needs and enhances their understanding our products and position in the industry
Keep up-to-date with our products, industry trends, and the needs of our users to ensure the creation of relevant and effective content
Review and refine content and code examples for clarity and accuracy
Manage your projects in coordination with the Marketing team, adhering to deadlines and contributing to our content strategy
Embrace new products and processes, sharing knowledge, and driving content quality and innovation
About You:
5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, Developer Experience/Advocate Engineer, or related role, with a proven track record of creating high impact content
You have web development experience
You know frontend tools such as TypeScript, Next.js, and Vercel
You excel in communication and collaboration, thriving in a team environment and contributing to a positive workplace
You quickly adapt to new domains, learning and articulating complex concepts into clear, comprehensive content
You prefer working in a fast-pace, agile environment with a high agency mentality

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $144,000 - $222,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
