About the Role:

The Partner Team at Vercel is charged with creating mutual success for Vercel, our partners and customers. As a Partner Sales Manager, you will support our growing alliance relations in the CMS, Commerce, and Cloud category.

This role requires an action-oriented, highly collaborative individual, with experience building up a pipeline from zero to millions. If you get excited about crafting win-win scenarios with partners, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive growth through key partnerships: Foster growth alongside our partners, driving partner-sourced pipeline

  • Own and nurture partner relationships: Take ownership of cultivating and nurturing strategic partnerships with alliance managers.

  • Strategic planning and messaging: Collaborate closely with Partner and Product Marketing teams to develop Go-To-Market (GTM) plans and messaging strategies. Ensure clear communication of the partnership's direction and value proposition to customers, Vercel, and the partner itself.

  • Enable and build champions: Develop and lead both internal and external partner sales enablement initiatives, ensuring that partners are equipped with the necessary resources and support to drive sales success.

  • Customer engagement facilitation: Act as a liaison between partners and customers, facilitating partner requests and gathering project/service requirements. Collaborate with the partner account management team to match customers with appropriate partners.

  • Co-sell and account mapping: Collaborate with the sales team to map their account lists against our partner ecosystem, identifying opportunities for partnership collaboration and revenue growth.

  • Become a subject matter expert: Work closely with alliance managers to gain a deep understanding of their partner ecosystem, including core offerings and services. Use this insight to align partnership strategies effectively.

About You:

  • 4+ years in partner management and sales roles at high growth SaaS companies

  • Experience in and with the MACH ecosystem. Cloud marketplaces, huge plus

  • Motivated by exceeding expectations and quota

  • Strong understanding of partnership dynamics and the ability to drive growth through collaborative relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to align partnership objectives with business goals.

The San Francisco, CA OTE pay range for this role is $165,000.00 - $195,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
