About the Role:

Vercel is looking for a Sales Trainer & Onboarding Manager to build and deliver our first in-person sales and customer success onboarding program: Vercel Bootcamp. This is a strategic and execution-driven role, designed for someone who not only excels at training but also has a strong point of view on sales excellence and knows what it takes to ramp up enterprise sales reps successfully.

This individual will be responsible for designing and managing the sales and customer success new hire onboarding curriculums, working in close partnership with our Field Readiness leads. They will also collaborate with Sales Managers to enhance asynchronous onboarding initiatives. This role is the primary point of contact for onboarding success, ensuring that new GTM hires ramp quickly and effectively to hit their targets.

This is not just a facilitator role—we need someone with a track record of enterprise sales success, deep technical acumen, and the ability to scale sales onboarding in a dev tools environment. The ideal candidate has experience selling developer-focused solutions, understands the modern buyer journey, and knows how to accelerate rep productivity in technical sales cycles.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and execute Vercel Bootcamp, our flagship in-person onboarding experience for sales and customer success reps.

  • Own and manage the end-to-end new hire onboarding curriculum, ensuring an effective ramp experience.

  • Facilitate engaging training sessions, covering sales methodologies, technical product knowledge, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Develop and maintain asynchronous onboarding resources, including playbooks, interactive learning modules, and best practice guides.

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Field Readiness, and Product teams to ensure training reflects the latest GTM priorities and product updates.

  • Coach new hires through their ramp period, tracking progress against key milestones and refining the program to optimize success rates.

  • Continuously improve onboarding effectiveness by analyzing performance data, gathering feedback, and iterating on training content.

  • Act as a thought leader in sales enablement, bringing fresh ideas to drive sales productivity and excellence.

About You:

  • You have at least 3+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally selling developer tools or technical SaaS solutions.

  • You have a strong understanding of technical sales cycles, buyer personas, and developer-led GTM motions.

  • You are an excellent facilitator and communicator, able to train and coach sales reps on technical concepts in an accessible way.

  • You have experience in training program design, curriculum development, and instructional delivery.

  • You’re skilled at creating structured onboarding experiences that help reps ramp faster and drive business impact.

  • You are a self-starter with a strategic mindset, capable of both high-level program design and hands-on execution.

  • You thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where enablement is a key driver of GTM success.

Bonus If You:

  • Have sold modern web development or infrastructure products to enterprise customers.

  • Have experience working with Next.js, Vercel, or similar developer-centric platforms.

  • Have a background in sales enablement, coaching, or instructional design.

  • Have knowledge of value-based selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message).

  • Have worked in hypergrowth SaaS environments with high-velocity GTM teams.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.

  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.

  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.

  • Flexible Time Off.

  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
