About the Role

This role is responsible for teaching millions of developers in our global community.

You will develop curriculums to teach our frameworks and products, build and maintain our educational platform, and work with Vercel employees and external partners to create courses. This will be both beginner and advanced content development. You will create our certification program and bootstrap our marketplace of certified experts.

This role is based at either our San Francisco headquarters or NY office. You are expected to work at the office 3x a week with our team.

About You:

  • You have 5+ years of engineering experience

  • You have a deep understanding of the web and frontend ecosystem

  • You have built courses for a technical audience of developers

  • You attract great developers to work for you

  • You don’t wait for a meeting – you take action immediately

  • You are comfortable leading teams and developing talented engineers

  • You thrive in an environment of extreme ownership and knowing your metrics

  • You would describe yourself as an excellent writer

Bonus If You:

  • Have previous experience starting a company (former founder)

  • Have experience working at startups

  • Have extreme subject matter knowledge on Next.js or React

  • Have built certification programs in the past (including accreditation)

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $150,000 - $250,000 OTE. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
