About the role:

Vercel is hiring an Administrative Assistant for Founder and CEO, Guillermo Rauch. This role will partner closely with Guillermo’s Executive Personal Assistant (who manages the CEO’s in-person day-to-day activities, all travel, and personal/family coordination) and Vercel’s Chief of Staff (who handles strategic projects, CEO meeting preparation, notes, and follow-up on action items).

The CEO’s time is increasingly in demand from various stakeholders, including internal teams at Vercel, customers, prospects, and personal investments.

The core responsibility of this role involves calendar management for professional needs only, and includes administrative support for inbox management, tag teaming expenses, and coordination with Vercel’s growing Executive Assistant team.

This is an in-office role and requires the Administrative Assistant to be present at our headquarters in San Francisco.

What you will do:

  • Communication: Handle all forms of communication, including emails, Slack channels and threads, and other correspondence, with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Building and maintaining organizational systems for tracking and managing inbound requests. Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and materials for meetings.

  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality at all times.

  • Administrative Support: Manage administrative tasks such as handling business expenses, coordinating plans for company-related offsites, and other Vercel-related initiatives.

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in using modern communications and organizational software tools. Ability to teach best practices and support others using:

    • Slack

    • Google Calendar and Google Suite

    • Notion

About you:

  • Extreme responsiveness and a strong sense of urgency—you take pride in fast response times and have a bias toward action.

  • You thrive on creating systems to ensure nothing slips through the cracks and love checking things off your list.

  • You take pride in flawless administrative execution.

  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

  • You take full ownership of the calendar—blocking time for breaks, minimizing context switching, and working closely with the EPA and Chief of Staff to prioritize tasks.

  • Maintain a friendly, composed, and approachable demeanor.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members at all levels.

  • Experience: At least 3 years as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.

Bonus if you:

  • Experience or enthusiasm for implementing and using AI to streamline work processes.

  • Have a strong interest in Vercel's mission

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.

  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.

  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.

  • Flexible Time Off.

  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
