About Vercel:

Vercel’s Frontend Cloud provides the developer experience and infrastructure to build, scale, and secure a faster, more personalized web. Customers like Under Armour, eBay, The Washington Post, Johnson & Johnson, and Zapier use Vercel to build dynamic user experiences on the web.

At Vercel, our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products and that goes hand in hand with creating an environment where you can do the best work of your life.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Operations and Systems, the Senior Financial Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role as the primary liaison between Vercel’s enterprise business systems and the Finance and Product teams. Your responsibilities will include understanding business functions and providing technical guidance to critical processes such as: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report. You will be a key thought partner that contributes to our systems’ development, implementation, and continuous improvement. This position requires the ability to draw on your domain expertise to identify both process and system improvements, as well as being able to effectively prioritize work in a fluid environment.

What You Will Do

  • Administrate and be the primary support contact for our financial systems stack: NetSuite, Zip, Stripe/Orb, Expensify, Navan, FloQast, BILL.com, Avalara, and EPM (Adaptive, Mosaic, Pigment, etc.)

  • Partner with internal business teams in developing delivery roadmaps, defining business processes and associated system requirements

  • Participate in large, complex, highly cross-functional system implementation projects: requirements gathering, systems configuration, testing documentation/execution, and providing post go live support

  • Lead and facilitate smaller projects (e.g. sales tax implementation) and system enhancements from ideation to production deployment

  • Drive our system support strategy: analyze ticket trends and recommend improvements to decrease issues and increase stakeholder enablement

  • Develop, maintain, and manage standard operating procedures and training materials

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, IT, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in administrating and supporting business systems

  • Deep admin experience with NetSuite: custom reports, saved searches, workflows, custom forms/fields, bundles, user management, etc.

  • Experience supporting ancillary systems: Zip, Expensify, FloQast, BILL.com

  • Understanding of integrations between systems: demonstrated experience integrating NetSuite with multiple point solutions and general knowledge of APIs

  • Highly organized and comfortable participating (and in some cases, leading) multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • Comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy in a dynamic, primarily async environment

  • Inherently curious with a strong desire to understand the “why” and “how behind processes and systems

  • Continuously look to make improvements to systems and processes; prioritize and orchestrate enhancement projects and support initiatives key to Vercel’s overall strategy

  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting information and project statuses across all levels of the organization

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of each platform’s functionality, relevant new product offerings and software releases
