About the Role:

We’re seeking an exceptional Head of Field Marketing to architect and scale Vercel’s global field marketing function. This hands-on leadership role requires someone who can combine strategic vision with roll-up-your-sleeves execution, building programs that resonate with deeply technical audiences while driving measurable revenue impact. You’ll own the playbook for field marketing, from regional strategies to executive programs and ABM, ensuring alignment with Sales, Product Marketing, Developer Experience, and Partnerships. We’re looking for a builder, someone who thrives in ambiguity, has a bias for action, and knows how to craft memorable experiences for engineers, CTOs, and enterprise decision-makers alike.

This position will be based out of the SF or NYC office in a hybrid basis and the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

What You Will Do:

  • Build and Lead Field Marketing Globally: Define the vision and strategy for field marketing across regions, creating scalable frameworks for events, ABM, and partner plays.

  • Engineer Experiences: Drive flagship hosted, sponsored, and partner events that engage developers and enterprise leaders, from technical workshops and roadshows to high-touch executive dinners.

  • Operationalize ABM at Scale: Architect and execute full-funnel ABM strategies for high-value accounts. Partner with Sales leadership to design account plays that deliver meetings, pipeline, and revenue.

  • Accelerate the Funnel: Develop creative, data-informed tactics to move buyers from awareness to decision faster, driving measurable pipeline impact.

  • Develop & Mentor a Team: Build and scale a high-performing team of regional field marketers. Inspire and coach them to deliver excellence in execution while building their careers.

  • Partner Across the Org: Work closely with Product Marketing, Developer Experience, Sales, and Partnerships to ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all touchpoints.

  • Measure What Matters: Define success metrics for field marketing, using data to track pipeline creation, deal acceleration, and revenue influence. Continuously optimize for impact.

  • Executive Presence: Represent Field Marketing in leadership forums, aligning field priorities with GTM strategy and ensuring Marketing is a true revenue partner.

  • Travel Requirements: Be present where it matters—supporting major events, executive programs, and field initiatives (~30% travel).

About You:

  • 8+ years of experience in field marketing, demand generation, or ABM, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

  • Proven success building field programs from scratch and scaling them globally.

  • Experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, CTOs, engineering leaders), ideally in AI, devtools, or cloud computing.

  • Deep expertise in ABM strategy and execution—comfortable designing account plays that tie to revenue outcomes.

  • Strong analytical and operational skills: you use data to guide decisions, test at speed, and refine based on impact.

  • High agency, scrappy, and motivated by results—you see opportunities and act without waiting for permission.

  • Excellent collaborator and communicator; able to operate cross-functionally with ease and inspire confidence at all levels.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to recruit, coach, and elevate a high-performing team.

  • Excited by the idea of building a world-class field marketing function at one of the most innovative companies in the developer ecosystem
