About the Role:

We are looking for a Partner Development Manager for our newly created Product Partnerships function, specifically focused on v0. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering organization to drive integrations with key players in the ecosystem that either augment our existing products or deliver distribution. This work includes build vs. buy decisions, developing partner requirements, leading relationships with partners to execute on these requirements, and negotiating, signing, and managing relationships with global partners to support our growing business.

The role will also require close coordination internally with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance and GTM, and externally with partners’ senior executives.

If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. What You Will Do:

  • Leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnership and product strategies, and execute deals and initiatives that support Vercel’s AI strategy

  • Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders to drive creation and execution of partner strategy

  • Build relationships with major existing players and new upstarts within the AI ecosystem to drive adoption of Vercel’s AI offerings like AI SDK and v0

  • Work with the AI coding ecosystem to drive Vercel distribution for deployment

  • Collaborate with Vercel's Marketplace Product and Partnerships teams around native v0 integrations from Marketplace Partners

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Product and Engineering teams to evaluate ecosystem opportunities to enhance product functionality or fill product gaps

About You:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development or related field

  • Track record of driving novel partnerships with developing technologies and new business models

  • Experience incubating emerging products and demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, fast changing environments

  • Broad and deep experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go to market models

  • Experience negotiating commercial deals with a diverse array of technology partners

  • Experience working in a product centric environments with significant internal and external dependencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally across a wide variety of functions, including at the C level

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $152,000.00 - $228,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location, and the total package includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
