About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with our Engineering and Product leaders to strategically develop and manage high performing teams in a fast paced environment. You will report into our Head of People, and will be part of our People Leadership Team. You will be instrumental in both the strategic and day to day operations of the company related to managing our existing workforce and helping us continue to scale at an accelerated rate. This individual will be essential as we develop more streamlined and sophisticated processes, methods to support hyper growth, and uplevel the overall employee experience.

You will partner with business leaders and employees through annual performance cycles, performance improvement, goal setting, compensation decisions, coaching, training, and other related initiatives.

A successful candidate in this role will have a passion for technology and be able to translate business priorities into actionable people programs. They are able to take our existing systems and processes, run them effectively, and systematically upgrade them to achieve better and more scalable, sustainable, results. They will excel in a high performance culture and always be looking for ways to help the company improve and succeed.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide strategic advice and consultative solutions to executives on all People related aspects of their business including; team effectiveness, leadership development, employee engagement, change management, and employee lifecycle processes.

  • Acquire and apply in-depth knowledge of the business and use that knowledge to drive impactful human capital strategies and global workforce planning.

  • Provide consultative support and guidance to managers on implementation and execution of core People performance programs including performance improvement plans and mid-year/year-end performance cycles.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Finance to ensure a feasible, pro-active workforce plan is in place and well-executed.

  • Collaborate and consult on the design and delivery of People programs to deliver impactful solutions to the business. This will include initiatives stemming from our engagement surveys.

  • Act as the advocate for leading the talent management and development plans for the business with a focus on enhancing the quality of leaders and managers, building skills and capabilities of the workforce, and ensuring succession bench strength.

  • Create and monitor regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure People metrics are quantified and outcome-driven.

  • Identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.

  • Guide and coach managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex People issues (e.g., performance management and total rewards).

  • Partner with team members throughout the People organization to communicate and educate on policies, procedures, and compliance.

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and develop solutions.

About You:

  • 5+ years experience in HR, with 3+ years as a Business Partner.

  • Must have experience supporting Engineering and Product teams at a rapidly growing, global technology organization.

  • Experience supporting and managing remote teams across the globe.

  • Experience guiding and coaching both senior level executives and people managers throughout the organization.

  • A passion for process efficiency and data driven decisions.

  • Worked in a fast-paced, hyper growth environment.

  • Designed and implemented a variety of HR related programs across multiple functions.

  • Experience coaching and mentoring others in an informal or formal setting.

  • Experience in a growing, global software development environment is preferred.
