Vercel CLI now includes vercel doctor, which checks your setup and shows the command that fixes each problem it finds.
It checks the CLI version and install, your login and current team, the project link, and your project configuration in vercel.json. It also reports active incidents from the Vercel status page.
Each check reports OK, Warning, Failed, or Skipped. When vercel upgrade can't update the installed CLI, the install check shows where the CLI runs from and how to reinstall it.
Doctor runs without a login or a linked project, and it never prompts, logs in, or links a project, so coding agents can run it before guessing at a fix. Add --json to get each check's status and suggested commands as structured output.
