About the Role:

In this role, you will work with a growing trust & safety team, a world-class engineering organization, and cross-functionally with other internal Vercel teams to build the Platform Health program at Vercel and to execute and deliver on its projects. The T&S Platform Health Program Manager will be responsible for facilitating Vercel’s Platform Health program, including technical and non-technical project management & coordination, tool and workflow implementation, tracking program metrics and team goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the Trust & Safety team’s internal and cross-functional projects, project coordination, and timely delivery of projects.

  • Work with our Trust & Safety Engineering team and broader Trust & Safety on project intake, coordinating on projects in development, and assisting and enabling them to ship projects related to scaled abuse detection/restriction/mitigation, terms of service-related abuse, policy/operations, legal requests, compliance, and workflow efficiency.

  • Managing expectations and communicating the team’s priorities, status, and progress to project stakeholders.

  • Tracking and reporting on our platform health and trust and safety metrics and evolving the measurement of platform health by developing new indicators over time.

  • Team operations and tracking T&S team goals and progress.

  • Assist T&S teams (Policy, Abuse Ops, Platform Abuse Ops, Legal Requests, T&S Engineering), as necessary.

  • Responding to escalations / incidents as necessary as part of an on-call rotation.

About You:

  • 3+ years in platform health, scaled abuse, anti-spam, or Trust & Safety/abuse as a program manager, product manager, or engineering manager (or similar facilitator with a T&S program management function)

  • Experience in scaled abuse/operations, ML operations, internal tools, or signals intelligence

  • Experience working with software development teams, work prioritization, and escalations workflows

  • Demonstrated ability to keep up with day-to-day operations while also maintaining longer term projects and management reporting

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving

  • Excellent information distiller, communicator, and relationship-builder

  • Operations or engineering experience implementing AI or AI labeling to solve operations problems

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $128,000 - $185,000.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
