Vercel is seeking a dynamic and motivated Customer Evidence Manager to join our Communications team. Reporting directly to the Director of Communications, the Customer Evidence Manager will play a pivotal role in our customer reference programs, responsible for gathering, crafting, and showcasing customer stories that demonstrate the value and impact of Vercel's platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the developer tools ecosystem and be familiar with frontend software workflows.
Customer Storytelling: Collaborate with Vercel customers to uncover compelling success stories, testimonials, and case studies that highlight the benefits and results of using Vercel's platform.
Program Management: Oversee all aspects of Vercel's customer reference programs, including customer interviews, video testimonials, written case studies, and other forms of customer evidence.
Content Creation: Partner with Content Marketing to write and produce high-quality written content, video content, and other collateral to effectively convey customer stories and their achievements with Vercel.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to identify, source, and prioritize customer advocates for various initiatives.
Database Management: Maintain a comprehensive database of customer references and evidence assets, ensuring they are easily accessible to internal stakeholders.
Advocacy Development: Nurture and grow relationships with customers who can serve as advocates for Vercel, turning satisfied users into vocal supporters.
Event Participation: Assist in securing customer speakers for Vercel events, such as webinars, conferences, and user group meetings, leveraging customer stories for maximum impact.
Measurement and Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of customer reference programs, demonstrating the impact on brand perception and sales.
Experience at a developer-focused company or experience serving a developer audience.
Proven experience in customer advocacy, reference program management, or similar roles.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong storytelling ability, with a talent for distilling complex technical concepts into accessible narratives.
Experience with content creation, including writing, video production, and design.
Highly organized with excellent project management and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and customer advocacy platforms is a plus.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $117,000.00 - $135,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
