Monitor your Next.js apps and serverless functions on Vercel with SigNoz — open-source, OTel-native observability for logs, traces, metrics, and alerts. Auto-provisions log and trace drains — no manual drain setup, no custom headers, no config drift.

• Log Management — Ingest Vercel logs, scoped to sources and environments you choose.
• Distributed Tracing — Traces via Vercel's OTel drain — per-environment sampling, path filtering.
• APM — Correlate traces, logs, and alerts.
• LLM Observability — Instrument Vercel AI SDK apps for token usage, prompts, tool calls.

Because SigNoz is built natively on OpenTelemetry, Vercel's OTel trace drain connects without translation layers or proprietary agents — you keep full vendor-neutrality and portable instrumentation.

1. Enter your SigNoz ingestion URL and ingestion key.
2. Enable Logs and/or Traces.
3. For Logs: select the sources to forward (lambda, edge, static, etc.) and configure sampling rules per environment.
4. For Traces: configure sampling rules per environment and optionally filter by request path prefix.
5. Click Add Integration to save — Vercel automatically creates your log drain and trace drain. Data starts flowing to SigNoz immediately.

Once installed, logs and traces stream into SigNoz within seconds. You can build custom dashboards, set up alerts on error rates or latency, and drill from a slow trace into the exact log line that explains it — all without leaving SigNoz.
