What it does

• Streams request logs from your Vercel projects to Ahrefs via a Log Drain — server-side, so it captures bot traffic that never runs JavaScript.
• Classifies traffic by bot: AI assistants and LLM crawlers, search engine bots, and other automated agents.
• Shows crawl activity per page and over time in the Ahrefs Bot Analytics dashboard.

How it works

1. Connect Vercel to your Ahrefs workspace (one authorization per Vercel team).
2. In your Ahrefs project's Bot Analytics settings, click Enable — Ahrefs finds the Vercel project matching your site's domain and creates the Log Drain automatically.
3. Bot traffic appears in Bot Analytics as requests arrive.

No snippets, no environment variables, no API tokens to manage.

Requirements: an Ahrefs account with Web Analytics, and an Ahrefs project whose domain matches a production domain of one of your Vercel projects.

Permissions: the integration requests read access to your projects (to match domains), read/write access to Log Drains (to create and remove its drain), and read/write access to the integration installation (so disconnecting from Ahrefs can uninstall it cleanly). It never reads your deployments, source code, or environment variables.

Data: only HTTP request log metadata (URL, timestamp, user agent, and similar request fields) is sent to Ahrefs; each drain is scoped to the matched project.

Disconnecting: disabling a project in Ahrefs deletes that project's drain; removing the workspace connection deletes all drains created by the integration, uninstalls it from your Vercel account, and revokes its access.
