Overview

Descope is a drag & drop authentication and user management platform for developers. With our no-code workflows, you can easily create and customize user-facing screens, authentication flows, MFA and step-up controls, SSO, and more for your consumer or business apps.

Developers building remote MCP servers can use Descope to add MCP spec compliant authentication, access control, consent management, and DCR assessment flows.

The Descope MCP Auth and Descope User Auth Vercel integrations will both create a Descope Project for new users or allow existing Descope users to associate their Vercel project.

The Descope MCP Auth integration will also configure Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) for your Descope Project, so you can start connecting to your MCP server immediately with MCP clients (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.).

The relevant environment variables needed for your app or MCP server will be automatically added.
