Design details
Neutral hierarchy
Dark uses pure black, and Light uses a soft off-white. Three shades of gray separate primary text, secondary output, and details like timestamps and suggestions.
- Primary#EDEDED
- Secondary#A0A0A0
- Quiet#8F8F8F
- Primary#24292F

Consistent perceptual brightness
We give Dark’s six bright accents the same +0.10 lightness step in OKLCH before converting them to sRGB. In Light, they get darker for emphasis.
Semantic colors
We use Geist colors for familiar terminal states: red for errors, green for success, amber for warnings, and blue for information. Labels like FAIL and WARN reinforce the message.
