If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my career, it’s this: community can change everything.

I personally built my entire career on communities by helping others, sharing what I was building, and being part of conversations. Opportunities in job roles, speaking engagements, mentorship and even friendships naturally followed long before I ever officially looked for it.

What surprised me most, though, is how visible that journey becomes when you contribute publicly. Every post you write, question you answer, or project you share becomes part of your story. People start to recognize your name, your work, and the way you show up.

And of course, there are perks. Back in 2021, I shared a project I built in the Next.js community and ended up receiving a Vercel mug in the mail. It was a small thing, but it made me feel like my contribution truly mattered. Someone had seen my work and appreciated it. And well, now I am here!

This is exactly why I am so excited about the Vercel Community.

The Vercel Community Platform is your space for everything happening across the Vercel ecosystem. It’s where you can:

  • Stay updated on the latest product releases
  • Join live sessions
  • Access valuable resources
  • Connect with top talent in our ecosystem
  • Give direct feedback to product teams

Whether you're launching your first project or scaling your next big idea, this is the place to learn, share, and grow.

If you are wondering where to start, here are the different ways you can contribute and make an impact in the community.

You can get started by signing in with your Vercel account on the Vercel Community Platform. Once you are in, set up your profile with a photo and a short line about what you do so the community can instantly get to know you.

You can then jump straight in by:

If you contribute consistently, you will earn points that place you on the community leaderboard.

Those points unlock access to Vercel Community swag and other rewards, so the more you participate, the more you can collect.

Community also grows through real-time moments, and you can be part of them by joining a Live Session.

You can either participate in the chat during our weekly live sessions, ask questions and learn from others, or join us on stage to present what you are building and share your knowledge of Vercel.

These sessions highlight community members doing amazing things, and you could be one of them.

You can contribute by being active on social media. Share what you are building, talk about your workflow, or highlight something you have learned, and tag @vercel and @nextjs so we can see it and amplify your work on X.

You can also join our Reddit communities (/r/vercel and /r/v0_) to take part in ongoing discussions across the ecosystem.

If you want to go even deeper in the Vercel ecosystem, you can apply to one of our community programs. These are designed for builders who love sharing what they know, teaching others, and helping push the ecosystem forward.

We currently have two programs:

  1. Apply to become a v0 Ambassador to help others learn v0, share tips, create content and represent the product in your local or online communities.
  2. You can also join the Open Source Program, which supports maintainers building tools, frameworks and integrations that strengthen the ecosystem.

Both programs offer direct support, resources, collaboration opportunities and recognition for your impact.

Look out for program members in the community platform, they will have exclusive badges next to their names!

Bring people together in your city by hosting a community meetup.

Start an in-person event through v0 IRL or use the Meetup SDK to run your own Vercel gathering.

Whether it is a small group or a larger event, meetups strengthen the community and create space for real connections.

Remember to add events you’re organising on our community calendar.
