Deploy Ionic Angular with Vercel

Create an Ionic Angular app and deploy it live with Vercel.

Ionic Framework is an open source UI toolkit for building performant, high-quality mobile and desktop apps using web technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).

This guide covers getting started with the official Ionic Angular integration.

Step 1: Set Up Your Ionic Angular Project

Set up an Ionic Angular app with npx and move into the project directory.

npx ionic start [project-name] conference --type angular && cd [project-name]

Initializing an Ionic app with npx and moving into the project directory.

Step 2: Deploying Your Ionic Angular App with Vercel

There are two ways to deploy with Vercel. We recommend using a Vercel for Git Integration for ease-of-use. Alternatively, Vercel CLI can be used to generate a manual Preview Deployment.

Once deployed, you will get a URL to see your live, such as the following: https://ionic-angular.now-examples.now.sh

To deploy your project with a Vercel for Git Integration, make sure it has been pushed to a Git repository.

Import the project into Vercel using your Git Integration of choice:

After your project has been imported, all subsequent pushes to branches will generate Preview Deployments, and all changes made to the default branch (commonly "master") will result in a Production Deployment.
