# Free Domain with Pro

New Pro upgrades include one free first-year custom domain. You choose an [eligible domain](#which-domains-tlds-are-eligible) as part of your upgrade, Vercel covers the first year of registration, and the domain is managed alongside your other [Vercel-registered domains](/docs/domains/working-with-domains).

## Which domains (TLDs) are eligible?

The offer covers these top-level domains (TLDs):

- `.online`
- `.site`
- `.space`
- `.store`
- `.tech`
- `.website`

`.com` is not eligible. For the full list of TLDs you can register and use on Vercel, see [Supported domains](/docs/domains/supported-domains).

## How do I claim my free domain?

You claim the free domain during the upgrade to Pro or from your dashboard after upgrading. Search for an [eligible TLD](#which-domains-tlds-are-eligible), select it, and complete the upgrade to register it. ## How long do I have to claim it?

You have 30 days from the date you upgrade to Pro. If you do not claim an eligible domain within that window, the offer expires.

## How many free domains do I get?

One free domain per Pro upgrade.

## What happens after the first year?

Vercel covers the first year of registration. After the first year, the domain renews at the standard rate, which you pay. Renewals are automatic by default, and you can manage them from your dashboard. See [Managing domain renewals and redemptions](/docs/domains/working-with-domains/renew-a-domain).

## Am I eligible if I'm already on Pro or on a Pro trial?

No. The offer applies only to new Pro upgrades. It is not available to existing Pro users, and it is not available during a [Pro trial](/docs/plans/pro-plan/trials).

## What happens to the domain if I downgrade or cancel Pro?

The domain registration is yours and is managed like any other [Vercel-registered domain](/docs/domains/working-with-domains). The free first year is a billing benefit of the upgrade. After the first year, the standard renewal rate applies, which you pay. See [Managing domain renewals and redemptions](/docs/domains/working-with-domains/renew-a-domain).
