Product Advocate (Eastern or GMT Timezone)

Vercel is looking for a Product Advocate to join our Growth team. Product Advocates are key to our product adoption and revenue funnel and are excited about encouraging customers to grow with Vercel. In this role, you will work mostly with customers and prospects, but will collaborate heavily with Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Developer Relations, and Customer Success. 

This is a new team, so we’re going to need your help building out all the different ways we will impact the business. The Product Advocate team reaches out to most of our new users to help them understand how to be successful with Vercel. Most recently, this team has also taken over all inbound sales inquiries to serve, teach, and triage all customer requests. While the team is new, the impact is clearly massive and we’re excited to grow it. 

What you’ll do:

  • Kick off sales cycles by identifying and qualifying future customers

  • Accelerate product adoption by offering support and education

  • Help users, prospects & community members succeed by being engaging and responsive

  • Advocate for Vercel as a platform for prospects

What you’ll need:

  • Charismatic and professional writing ability

  • Computer science background or degree

  • Sales aptitude or experience

  • The ability to organize chaos

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Vercel and/or Next.js! We want to make sure you love the product you’ll be advocating for

  • Salesforce, Outreach, Hubspot, or similar

  • Customer service, sales, or another customer facing position
