About the Role:

Vercel is hiring a Field Marketing Manager to play a foundational role in driving awareness and consideration for our product among enterprise companies through events (virtual and in-person).

In this role, your mission will be to accelerate the impact of our sales team with field marketing tactics, demand gen campaigns and pipeline maturing programs. Day to day activities center around high-quality execution, identifying event trends for Vercel’s Pro and Enterprise audience, managing virtual and in-person events, and running campaign analysis. This role will partner with Sales, Demand Gen, MOPS and others across the organization.


  • Collaborate closely with sales management, field sales, demand gen, content marketing, marketing operations, and creative to create and deliver integrated field events that tie back to Vercel’s near-term and long-term objectives.

  • Translate demand generation programs into events and experiences for Vercel’s audience, partner with engineering, product, sales leaders and external partners to develop content, develop promotional strategy with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness and drive high levels of attendance and engagement.

  • Project manage and execute end-to-end event management - Manage contracts, communication, planning, logistics, and execution of events, including: trade shows, conferences, webinars, and quarterly team building activities.

  • Create and implement end-to-end campaign flow including audience segmentation, promotional strategy, and follow-up strategy.

  • Ensure that all event lead metrics are recorded and subsequent follow strategy is implemented.

  • Maintain a calendar of events and identify new event opportunities for the organization.

  • Act as the primary logistical support person for marketing events and trade shows. This includes shipping of materials, booth properties, graphics, computers, literature, promotional items, rental equipment, and tracking during transportation.

  • Educate internal staff on event responsibilities, task assignments, and equipment allocation to ensure alignment with department and company objectives.

  • Travel required (covid-permitting) 50% of the time
